Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a serious problem to seek a psychologist?

No. Sometimes a person comes because of a specific difficulty, and other times because they feel stress, confusion, dissatisfaction, or a need for change.

You don’t have to wait for the situation to become too heavy.

How does the first meeting go?

We start from what brings you here at the moment.

We will look at the situation, how it affects you and what you'd like to be different. You don’t need to have everything figured out in advance or know exactly where to start.

The first meeting is also an opportunity to assess whether my way of working is suitable for you.

How long does a consultation last?

An individual psychological consultation lasts 50 minutes.

How many meetings will be necessary?

There is no universal number.

This depends on the topic, goals, and the situation of the specific person. For some issues, a few meetings can provide significant clarity, while others require more time.

Right from the start, we can discuss what you want to achieve and how it might be reasonable to structure our work.

Do you work only with men?

No.

I work with both men and women on topics such as stress, anxiety, relationships, family, professional pressure, and life decisions.

I have a special professional interest in the psychology of men, fatherhood, and the way men experience tension and responsibility.

Do you work with stress, anxiety, and burnout?

Yes.

These are among the common topics in my practice. We work on understanding the causes of tension, personal reactions, and practical ways to cope better in everyday life.

Can I come for relationship problems?

Yes.

You can seek consultation for conflicts, distance, jealousy, insecurity, separation, difficulty setting boundaries, or when you are unsure what decision to make about a relationship.

Your partner does not have to be present.

What if I don’t know exactly what the problem is?

This is a completely sufficient reason for a first meeting.

Sometimes a person only knows that they do not feel well, that something is repeating, or that their current lifestyle no longer satisfies them.

We can start exactly from that.

Are the meetings confidential?

Yes. Psychological consultations are conducted with respect to the personal space and confidentiality of the individual.

Do you work online?

I mainly work in person at my office in Plovdiv.

If necessary and when the format is appropriate, I also conduct online consultations.

How can I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment through Superdoc or contact me via the contact form, phone, or email.
